The event "Divine Inspiration and the Modern Civilization" is the first of its type in New Zealand, held in Masjid Attaqwa, it welcomed Muslims from around New Zealand. The intetion was to unite Muslims under the banner of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah (Arabic: أهل السنة والجماعة; English: Adherents to the Sunnah and the community or Followers of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah) and that was apparent in the turnout.
