Descriptions of parts of Jahannam (Hell) and the types of sins in this dunya that leeds to that punishment (eg. a person died without tauba while indulged in Alcohol). Please begin the lecture straight away on the topic – ie: description of the Jahannam and the people who are punished for the kind of sins they were indulged in.Please allow one hour for this topic so that most of it is covered.
This topic would accomodate a lots of sins that one would be involved in right now and may not know what would be the outcome if they died while in that state.
JazakAllah Khair
Another Topic to cover would be “Benefits of Dhikr”
This includes understanding, reciting Qur’an and acting upon it.

Al-Quran 2:187

Topic: The MOST Powerful Weapon (DUA). We tend to forget that we muslims have the most powerful weapon with us, making Dua to Allah SWT.
i)Importance of making Dua.
ii)Best times to make dua(supplication)….
Or either other Topic : Tahajjud Prayer..
i) its importance and how to pray…
BarakAllahu Feek.
Assalamu Alaikum Brother.
What a wonderful topic. I believe you meant Surat Al Baqara ayat 186, I love this ayat and in many moments it has been a comfort to me.
May Allah subhaana wa ta’ala make us of those who are sincere in our du’a. Ameen ya rabbil aalameen.
Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatu,
Today we hear a lot about Islam and Iman but not much about Ihsan. A lecture about Ihsan and how to achieve Ihsan would be very beneficial inshAllah.
JazakAllah khair.
Assalamu Alaikum WWB, I would like to suggest the following topic: The Family in Islam, Responsibilities & Duties. Baaraka Allahu Feekum.
How the first three generations of the ummah did dawah and how they supported reverts. What can we learn from them as regards to our own efforts in this field.
Assalam alaikum.
Quite often do we get advised to “be patient” or “control your anger” or “make good decisions” etc. Now that is all very well said, I have heard it time and time again, so many people giving me this kind of advice I have now lost count and at the end of the day the “do now ask questions later” approach still takes precedence somehow????
Anyhow to my point, rather than advising people to be patient, or controlling anger or advising people to make good decisions, I would like to here a lecture on “how to be patient” or “how to control anger” or “how to make good decisions” etc. Because from my own long history of screw ups it is not very beneficial for one to tell somebody to make good decisions if he does not know how to make good decisions.
That is my sujestion, It may sound like a boring topic to most of you (inshALLAH no) but with enough explanation from quran and sunnah it could be a very interesting topic as long as we do not lose sight of our objective ( remember we want to know how to do such and such…..so that when we are told to do such and such we already know what to do)
Regard Dawud
assalam alaikum I am sorry I hope I made myself clear, will give another example just in case but I think you got it inshALLAh. For example when it comes to salat or fasting, we are not only told to fast and pray but we are also told how to fast and how to pray. same thing with what I mentioned above about patience etc, yes it is good advice if somebody tells us to be patient, but we also need to know HOW to be patient. I might sound a bit ridiculous writing all of this, but really it is very hard to be patient and make good decisions, and I believe there is a procedure to doing this and we need to know it inshALLAH.
assalam alaikum
